When the war with Hamas began in October 2023, many families in Ashkelon, a city situated close to the border with Gaza, were hiding from heavy bombings, unable to go out and buy food or basic items. The local stores were closed or empty. So our team started purchasing and distributing food and basic items to those who needed them. After the situation in the city returned to normal, we continued our food distribution, focusing on the poor and needy: single mothers, the elderly, new immigrants, etc.

One of our volunteer teams meets an old acquaintance, Sasha, who has been trapped in drug addiction for many years already. Please pray for Sasha to find true freedom in the Lord!
