The Aviv project is recommended by:John and Judy Pex. "I have known Dov Bikas for twenty-eight years as a faithful brother and Olga since she became a believer here in Eilat. They are both visionaries and have started ministries of evangelism among Russian Jews, church planting in the Negev, working among the poor and needy in the Land of Israel, and among the prostitutes, drug addicts, alcoholics, and abused women. I heartily endorse this work which, at this time, is one of the most fruitful ministries in Israel. I pray the Lord continues to bless them abundantly in their labor for Him."

Oleg Korotkoij, Head of the Russian Department, Israel College of the Bible. This year in Israel College of the Bible (in Netanya, Israel), for the first time in its history, a Russian program has been launched in addition to the existing ones in English and Hebrew. Many Russian-speaking pastors, teachers and leaders of various Christian organizations began their studies within the framework of this program. I would like to point out, however, a remarkable fact: nearly one half of the students of the new Russian Department are former drug addicts. These are people who had completed a rehabilitation program, received deliverance form their addictions by God's grace and started serving the Lord in various areas of ministry. Later they realized that they needed education to become more effective servants and went to study in our college. I consider the work of pastor Dov and his team among drug addicts and the homeless to be one of the most effective ministries in Israel, since many of those who were formerly addicted to drugs find the Lord, grow spiritually and become faithful servants in the Kingdom of God.
