Ministry in Tel Aviv isn’t always easy – and we need to be prepared. From self-defense to medical awareness, our teams train regularly to serve safely and fruitfully. Watch how we equip volunteers to meet challenges with courage and wisdom.

"The prudent sees danger and hides himself, but the simple go on and suffer for it" (Proverbs 22:3).

Leonid spent years on the streets of Tel Aviv, addicted and hopeless. A chance encounter at a traffic light and a notebook with “God’s phone number” changed everything. Watch how the Lord delivered him, healed him, and turned him into a leader helping others find the same hope and freedom in Christ.

Part of our work with new immigrants is to introduce them to the history of our country, the Biblical events that took place in this Land, and the truths of Scripture. Join us on this special tour for new immigrants that took place in the historic park of Ashkelon.

Vadim Birman was a talented and successful journalist, but his life was consumed by addiction — until God showed His mercy and set me free. Now, he serves at Aviv Ministry, using media to share powerful testimonies of transformed lives. In this video, see also how one visitor of Aviv Center who is struggling with addiction found hope and chose rehabilitation after watching one of Vadim's videos about God’s work in another person's life. All glory to the Lord!

Meet Eduard, the manager of Aviv Center — a soup kitchen for drug addicts and the homeless in South Tel Aviv — and the leader of our humanitarian project in Ashkelon for new immigrants and the needy. Once a criminal and drug addict, Eduard lost everything — his family, his freedom, and his hope. But God met him in his darkest moment and turned his life around. Today, Eduard ministers to other lost souls trapped in the net of addiction.

Wilhelm, the manager of our Rehab Center for men in Beersheba, tells about his past as a drug addict and criminal – and the change he experienced when God touched his heart with His saving grace.

In our experience, the healing of the soul often begins with the healing of the body. Nina Rybak, one of Aviv Center volunteers and our First Aid Project leader, tells about this integral part of the outreach in Tel Aviv.

Yuri, one of our rehab center residents, tells how his pride led him to lose everything – his job, family, and health. Homeless and broken, he found true change through humility and God's love. “Before destruction the heart of a man is haughty, and before honor is humility" (Proverbs 18:12).
